About Toolverse
Toolverse is an independent collection of small, honest web utilities built by a developer who got tired of "free" tools that quietly upload your files to a server.
The principle: your data stays on your machine
Every tool here — the JSON formatter, the image compressor, the text cleaner and the rest — is implemented as pure client-side code. There is no application server behind these pages. When you paste confidential text or drop in a photo, the processing happens inside your own browser tab, and closing the page erases the data. This is an architectural guarantee, not a promise in a policy document: there is simply nowhere for your content to be sent.
Why the site exists
Utility pages tend to die when they are monetised badly: ten-second waits, fake download buttons, and CAPTCHAs. Toolverse takes the opposite approach — one page, one tool, instant results. The site is funded by unobtrusive display advertising, which is disclosed in the privacy policy. Ads are the only thing on the page that talks to anyone other than you.
Who maintains it
Toolverse is maintained by an independent web developer with a background in building file-processing and document tooling. New tools are added when a real, repeated personal need shows up — not to chase keywords. Suggestions and bug reports are welcome via the contact page; they are read personally.
Accuracy and warranties
The tools are provided in good faith and tested against common cases, but they come without warranty. For irreplaceable files, keep a backup before transforming them, and verify output before relying on it in production.
